Bitcoin: Simple Sending

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency system that allows transactions to occur directly between users. The generation of new blocks forms the basis for the issuance of this cryptocurrency. It's important to note that Bitcoin has no real value until you exchange it for traditional money, goods, or services. To do this, you'll need to send your Bitcoin to another person. Follow our step-by-step guide to understand how to do this.

Part 1

Step 1. Understand how the transfer works.

Step 1

Start by learning about the transfer process. To gain practical experience, you can create a second wallet and try transferring Bitcoin between your two wallets.

Step 2. Get the recipient's address.

Step 2

Ask the recipient for their address. To send Bitcoin, you need a unique address, which is a sequence of random letters and numbers typically 35 characters long.

Step 3. Go to the transactions tab.

Step 3

Open the section dedicated to transactions. Your wallet, where your Bitcoin is stored, also has a send function. Different software interfaces may vary, but typically you will find a tab labeled "Send Bitcoin" for sending.

Step 4. Enter the recipient's address.

Step 4

Carefully type in the recipient's address. Copy it to your clipboard and paste it into the "To:" field.

Step 5. Specify the amount to send.

Step 5

Enter the amount you wish to send. Input the number of Bitcoins and click the "Send" button.

Step 6. Wait for transaction confirmation.

Step 6

After sending, wait for the payment confirmation. This process may take some time as transactions are verified by miners. Once the payment is confirmed, the funds will appear in the recipient's wallet.
