Navigating modern TVs can be quite a challenge. I'm the only one in my family who knows how to switch between the DVD player, antenna TV, and cable channels. And that's not even considering all the features that Smart TVs offer.
Part 1
Step 1. Make sure you have the right remote.
Ensure you have the correct remote. If you have one of the 7 Samsung TV or monitor models that support TV functions, they all come with remotes. On the Smart TV remote, there is a button located in the middle on the left called Smart Hub.
- At the top of the remote, there are three buttons: on the left is the red power button that turns on the TV, on the right is the yellow glowing button (which lights up when you use the remote), and in the middle is the source selection button.
Step 2. Connect your devices to the media port.
When setting up your media player, you will have several HDMI ports to connect various devices. Connect the devices you intend to use.
Step 3. Select HDMI 1 for connection.
To select HDMI 1 (likely your preferred connection), press the source selection button until you reach HDMI 1, then press the confirm button. (If your cable box is off, you will receive a message indicating that the source is not connected. Just turn it on.)
