Google services are available in multiple languages. If your native language isn't English, you can change it in Google Search, Gmail, and Google Maps. The language you set as your primary language is linked to your Google account, so this language will be used until you log out of your Google account. Keep in mind that on some devices, changing the display language for search results may not be possible.
Google Services (on Desktop)
Step 1. Perform a search on Google.com.

Perform a search on Google.com. This is the easiest way to change the language.
Step 2. Click on the gear icon.

Click on the gear icon. It is located in the upper right corner of the search results.
Step 3. Click on "Languages".

Click on "Languages". This will open the Google search settings.
Step 4. Select your desired language, then click "Save".

Select your desired language, then click "Save". If you choose an unfamiliar language, this button will be highlighted in blue. This changes the interface language for all Google services, including YouTube and Gmail. If you are not logged into your Google account, the settings will apply until you close your browser. If you are logged in, the selected language will be used until you log out of your Google account.

Google Services (on Mobile)
Step 1. Open Google.com in your mobile browser.

Step 2. Tap on "Settings" at the bottom of the screen.

Tap on "Settings" at the bottom of the screen. Then, select "Search Settings" from the menu.
Step 3. Scroll down to the "Google Product Language" menu.

Scroll down to the "Google Product Language" menu. Here you can choose the interface language for all Google services, including Google Search, Gmail, and Google Drive.
Step 4. Open the menu with the list of available languages.

Step 5. Select your desired language.

Select your desired language. Please note that it may not change immediately.
Step 6. Open the "Add Language" menu.

Open the "Add Language" menu. This allows you to add additional languages for search results. You can add as many languages as you want.
Step 7. Tap "Save".

Tap "Save". If you are not logged into your Google account, the settings will apply until you close your browser. If you are logged in, the selected language will be used until you log out of your Google account.
Google App (on Android)
Step 1. Launch the Google app.

Launch the Google app. If you are using the Google app or Google Search bar, you can change the language for search results. To do this, open the Google app, which is found on the App Drawer.
Step 2. Open the Google app menu.

Open the Google app menu. To do this, swipe from left to right across the screen or tap the "☰" icon on the left side of the search bar at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Tap "Settings" > "Search Language".

Tap "Settings" > "Search Language". This will open a list of available languages.
Step 4. Select your desired language.

Select your desired language. This will only change the language for search results. The interface language of the Google app will match the system language of your mobile device.
Step 5. Change your device's system language to change the Google app's interface language.

- Launch the "Settings" app. You can find its icon on the home screen or in the App Drawer;
- Tap "Language & Input" > "Language";
- Select your desired language. This will change the system language and the interface for all installed applications.
Google App (on iOS)
Step 1. Launch the "Settings" app.

Launch the "Settings" app. To change the language of the Google app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you need to change the language of the entire system. If you do not want to change the system language, proceed to the last step of this section.
Step 2. Tap "General" > "Language & Region".

Step 3. Tap "iPhone/iPad/iPod Language".

Tap "iPhone/iPad/iPod Language". This will open a list of available languages.
Step 4. Select your desired language.

Select your desired language. This will change the interface language for all installed applications, including the Google app. If you do not want to change the system language but want to change the language for search results in the Google app, proceed to the next step.
Step 5. Create a shortcut for the Google search engine in your desired language.

Create a shortcut for the Google search engine in your desired language. To have search results displayed in your desired language while keeping the system language unchanged, create a shortcut on your mobile device's home screen — this shortcut will open the Google search engine in the desired language:
- Open Safari and navigate to the Google search engine in your desired language. Google is available in various countries, using the domain assigned to each country. For example, the Russian Google search engine is Google.ru, the German one is Google.de, and the French one is Google.fr.
- Tap "Share". This icon, resembling a square with an arrow, is located at the bottom (iPhone, iPod) or top (iPad) of the screen.
- Tap "Add to Home Screen". You can now change the name of the shortcut being created. Include the language in the name of the shortcut to indicate which version of the Google search engine can be opened using this shortcut. Now click "Add".
- Tap the shortcut to search in a language different from the system language. Click on the created shortcut (on the home screen) to open the Google search engine in your desired language. Search results will be displayed in that language.
