How to Set Up Netflix on Your TV

Netflix offers a vast selection of movies, TV shows, and original content at affordable prices. You can watch Netflix on nearly any internet-connected computer, smartphone, tablet, smart TV, streaming device, or modern gaming console. In this article, you will learn how to watch Netflix on various devices.

Smart TV

Step 1. Connect the TV to your home network.

Connect the TV to your home network. To watch Netflix on your TV, it must be connected to the internet. This can be done via a wired connection (Ethernet cable) or a wireless connection (Wi-Fi). If the TV is not a smart TV, connect a streaming device like Roku, Google Chromecast, Firestick, or Apple TV to it.

• Wired connection - This will provide a much more stable internet connection. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the "LAN" port on the modem or router, and the other end into the Ethernet port on the TV.
• Wireless connection - Open the settings menu on the TV and find the network settings. Select the wireless network, then enter the network password using the remote control. Keep in mind that the names and locations of menus and options may vary by TV model.

Step 2. Open the list of apps installed on the TV.

Open the list of apps installed on the TV. To do this, press the special button found on most smart TV remotes. Typically, this button is marked with the logo or name of the TV manufacturer. Use the TV remote, not a universal remote or receiver remote.
