The Easiest Way to Convert Images to PDF

In this article, we will show you how to quickly and easily turn images (like JPG or PNG) into PDF documents. You can do this on Windows and Mac OS X computers, as well as on mobile devices such as iPhone and Android.

On Windows

Step 1: Open the Start Menu

Click on the Windows logo in the bottom left corner of your screen to open the Start menu.

  • Alternative option: Right-click on the image and select "Open with" > "Photos" to open it in the Photos app. Then proceed to the step "Click on the Print icon."

Step 2: Find the Photos App

Type "Photos" in the search bar. The app will start searching for all your images.

Step 3: Open the Photos App

Click on "Photos" to launch the application found at the top of the menu.

Step 4: Select an Image to Convert to PDF

Click on the desired image to open it.

  • If you want to create a PDF from multiple images, click "Select" in the top right corner of the Photos window and choose all the necessary photos.

Step 5: Click on the Print Icon

Click on the printer icon in the top right corner of the window to open the Print menu.

  • You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P.

Step 6: Select the Printer "Microsoft Print to PDF"

In the Printer drop-down menu, select "Microsoft Print to PDF."

Step 7: Click on Print

Click the "Print" button at the bottom of the menu to continue.

Step 8: Enter a Name for Your PDF File

In the "File name" field, enter the desired name for your PDF.

Step 9: Choose a Folder to Save the PDF File

Select the desired folder on the left side of the window.

Step 10: Click on Save

Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner. Your PDF file will be created and saved.

On Mac OS X

Step 1: Launch the Preview App

Open Preview by clicking the magnifying glass icon above the images in the Dock.

  • If the icon is missing, type "Preview" in Spotlight, then double-click on "Preview" in the search results.

Step 2: Select an Image for PDF

Go to the folder with your images and select the desired photo.

  • To select multiple images, hold down ⌘ Command and click on each one.

Step 3: Click Open

Click the "Open" button in the bottom right corner. The images will open in the Preview app.

Step 4: Open the File Menu

Go to the top left corner and open the File menu.

  • If you want to change the order of the images, drag them in the sidebar.

Step 5: Click Print

Select the "Print" option at the bottom of the File menu.

Step 6: Open the PDF Menu

In the bottom left corner of the window, click the PDF menu.

  • To change print options, click "Show Details" at the bottom of the window.

Step 7: Click Save as PDF

Select "Save as PDF" from the drop-down menu.

Step 8: Enter the PDF File Name

Type the name of your PDF file in the appropriate text field.

Step 9: Choose a Folder to Save (if needed)

If necessary, choose a folder on the left side of the window.

Step 10: Click Save

Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner. Your PDF document will be created and saved in the specified folder.

On iPhone

Step 1: Open the Photos App

Launch the Photos app by tapping the icon that looks like a colorful flower.

Step 2: Select a Photo

Find the desired photo by tapping on the album, then on the photo itself.

  • In the bottom right corner of the screen, select "Albums."
  • To select multiple photos, tap "Select" in the top right corner and click on each photo you want.

Step 3: Tap Share

Choose the "Share" option located in the bottom left corner of the screen. A menu with options will appear.

Step 4: Select Print

Tap the printer icon in the bottom row of the menu.

Step 5: Preview the PDF

Zoom in on the preview window by spreading your fingers to see the photo in PDF format.

  • If your iPhone has the "3D Touch" feature, press on the preview window to open it on a new page.

Step 6: Tap the Share Icon

Select the Share icon in the top right corner of the screen. A menu will appear.

Step 7: Tap Save

Click on the folder icon "Save" in the bottom row of the menu.

Step 8: Choose Storage for the PDF File

Select the folder where you want to save the PDF file.

  • If you choose "On My iPhone," you can specify a folder on your device.

Step 9: Tap Add

Tap "Add" in the top right corner of the screen. Your PDF will be created and saved.

On Android

Step 1: Install a Free Image to PDF Converter App

Go to the Play Store and follow these steps:

  • Tap the search bar;
  • Type "image to pdf" and hit "Search";
  • Select the app "Image to PDF Converter" with the sun and mountain icon;
  • Tap "Install";
  • Confirm the installation by tapping "Accept."

Step 2: Open the Installed App

Launch the app by tapping "Open" in the Play Store or clicking on its icon.

Step 3: Tap the "+"

Select the "+" option in the top left corner to open the list of images on your device.

Step 4: Choose an Album

Choose the album containing the images you want to convert.

Step 5: Select Images to Convert to PDF

Tap on each image you want to include in the PDF to mark it.

Step 6: Tap "✓"

Tap the checkmark in the top right corner of the screen to add the selected images to the conversion list.

Step 7: Tap Convert

Tap the "Convert" button with the arrow and page icon at the top of the screen.

Step 8: Select "Save as PDF"

Tap the "Save as PDF" button at the bottom of the screen. The selected images will be converted into a PDF file and saved in the "Image to PDF Converter" folder in your device's memory or on the SD card.
